Estrogen and Progestogen Use in Peri- and Postmenopausal Women: September 2003 Position Statement of The North
American Menopause Society
NAMS released a report on hormone therapy in 2002. In subsequent months, however, an influx of new clinical trial data led the organization to convene a second HT Advisory Panel to develop another report. After approval from the 2002-2003 NAMS Board of Trustees, this position statement was released on September 17, 2003, and is reprinted here.
